Casey Smith Wins the Miller Lite 100 Super Late Model Event 22-Year-Old Texan scores his second victory of the month in Alabama!

(Mobile, Alabama) May 26, 2007 - Casey Smith took his #99 straight-rail Super Late Model to Mobile International Speedway (Mobile, AL) on Saturday night and dominated the Miller Lite 100 Event, setting quick time, leading every lap and took the win by nearly a straightaway beating some of the best Super Late Model drivers in the Southeast.

“It was a lot of fun,” said Casey. “My car was on a rail tonight, we were fast when we unloaded and I just kept changing a few things and it kept getting better.” Casey expressed. “When you have a car as good as mine was tonight it is just a lot of fun to go out there and get up on the wheel and race those guys.” said Casey.

Casey won the first VIPER Series race at South Alabama Speedway (Opp, Alabama) earlier this month.

“Anytime you win, it makes you feel good and makes you know that you have the talent and the skill to get the job done,” added Casey. “To come over here (Alabama), and gain another win is huge for me.” said Casey

“It was a good race with some very good cars,” said Casey. “With the Blizzard Series at (Five Flags Speedway, Pensacola, Florida) last night, there were some of the best of the best here, Mike Garvey helping Ryan Crane, Freddie Query with Brian Scott , Wayne Anderson with Seig, and John Boy Wilkerson with Ken McFarland, you know if you beat them, you are doing something right and we beat them all pretty good tonight.”

Casey now has 6-starts, 2-Wins, 3-top Fives, 3-top Tens, this season.

Casey will take the month of June off. He plans on spending time on the lake, taking in some summer concerts, working in his business, and preparing for the July 20th and 21st events at Five Flags Speedway and Mobile International Speedway.
